Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our service. By using COVA Tree Service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Scope of Service: COVA Tree provides a range of tree services, including but not limited to plant health care, tree trimming, tree removal, stump grinding, and tree planting. All services are subject to the availability of our crews and equipment.

Estimate: COVA Tree provides free estimates for all services. The estimate will provide a detailed breakdown of the work to be done, the cost of the work, and any terms or conditions that apply to the service. Estimates are valid for thirty (30) days. Estimates approved after thirty (30) days are subject to rebid.

Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the work. We accept cash, check, and credit card payments. Customer agrees to pay all invoices within seven (7) days of service. If payment is not received within 30 days of completion of the work, interest at the rate of 1.5% per month will be charged on the outstanding balance. If you prefer to pay by credit card, that option is available for a 2.9% fee.

Cancellation Policy: Upon contract acceptance, either verbal, digital or written, the customer agrees that once service(s) are scheduled, the customer has the right to cancel service(s), without penalty, up to 14 days prior to service. In the event you need to cancel or reschedule your job within 14 days of the job schedule date, a 20% Cancellation Fee will be due. Same day or next day cancellations will be billed at 50% contract rate. Planting jobs cancelled within fourteen (14) days will be charged an additional restocking fee equal to 25% of the cost of the tree(s) purchased.

Liability: COVA Tree will take all reasonable care in performing its services. Customer is responsible for clearing all work areas of all pet waste, breakable and movable property. A $50.00 fee will be applied if COVA must clear the workspace of waste or breakables. You, the customer, agree to indemnify, release and hold harmless COVA Tree, its employees or subcontractors from all claims, damages, causes of action and liability to property and/or any underground lines or utilities (water/sprinkler, electrical, gas, etc.) of any type.

Pest and Wildlife Policy: If bees, wasps, or other stinging/biting insects are discovered during your scheduled job, the crew will notify the customer and determine if the crew is safely able to apply stinging insect spray. If wildlife, such as bird’s nests, are discovered during your scheduled job, the crew will notify the customer and determine if the crew is safely able to relocate the wildlife. COVA Tree may charge for the additional time required to complete this task if agreed to by the customer, and payment for the crew’s time is due regardless of whether the attempt was successful. If the crew is unable to eliminate the hazard, the job will be rescheduled until the customer is able to have the situation remedied.
